Wiehart operates production facilities on its premises located at Pernhofen 5, 2064 Wulzeshofen, which are subject to the Hazardous Incident Information Ordinance. Safety reports and emergency plans have therefore been drawn up accordingly that are regularly reviewed and updated in cooperation with the authorities.
All plants satisfy environmental and safety requirements (plant safety, occupational safety, air pollution control, soil pollution control, waste recycling, etc.). This is ensured by measurements, observations and (official) checks.
Wiehart only produces zinc oxide in a variety of different qualities. Zinc oxide is mainly used in the tyre / rubber industry but also in the ceramics and electronics industries. Zinc and zinc materials are evaporated during production.
Malfunctions during operation may result in the emission of dust.
